Internship Programme

FES Pakistan is now accepting applications for internships in 2026. Please refer to the details below for further information on how to apply: 

Eligibilities:

  • Current university students having completed 2nd year and above of their studies.
  • A study background in political science, sociology, development studies, law, economics, public administration, gender studies, environmental studies, or international relations has proven to be the most advantageous.
  • Good in English communication
  • Good writing both in English and Urdu.
  • Fundamentals of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of and support to the ideas of social democracy.


Job Description:

The intern will contribute to the proper implementation of FES Pakistan projects. At the beginning of the internship, a training schedule will be developed, including the following tasks:

  • Substantive and organisational involvement in current political consultation projects,
  • Participation in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of important office events,
  • Participation in the foundation's everyday activities,
  • Review literature and do online research to gather information and check the data validity,
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities delegated or advised by the Programme Advisors.

Reporting to: Programme Advisor


Compensation: This is a paid internship. Therefore, FES Pakistan will offer an allowance according to its financial guidelines.
