Social Justice and Economy

FES has been organizing national and international conferences, publishing policy analyses and research as well as information material, and hold open platforms for the discussion of economic policies to foster sustainable development and social inclusion. Together with the national apex bodies of trade unions and employers’ organisations, FES is working on the effective implementation of the trade cooperation programme of GSP-Plus between Pakistan and the European Union.

Other topics include Industrial Policy and decent work, compliance of labour standards and occupational safety and health standards in mines, textile sectors, capacity building of informal sectors of economy, employment and labour market policies and equitable economic opportunities and engagement for women.
