National Labour Conference 2021 - Context, Challenges, and Way Forward

The Labour Movement in Pakistan has been through challenging times which is now fragmented on different scales. The movement is divided in the whole country sometimes on ideological bases or ethnic lines. There is a need to understand the core issues of the Labour Movement in Pakistan and come up with a strategy to strengthen the movement across the country.

In this regard, FES in collaboration with Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER) organized a “National Labour Conference 2021” in Islamabad which was attended by various labour leaders, labour support organizations, economists, civil society and media.
